Meet 12 of Calgary's visual artists while you tour at your own pace. Use the map (linked below) to plan your route! Learn about their process, view their work and ask as many questions as you like!
This studio tour is self-led and open Saturday the 22nd & Sunday the 23rd (October) from 11am to 4pm each day.

Gloria Chow elicits inspiration from the beauty within nature, familiar surroundings and whatever catches her eye. With a focus on portraits and figures Gloria accurately captures the gestures and moods of the subjects within her oil paintings, leaving the viewer feeling as though they have witnessed a personal moment.

Brandie Cormier is an acrylic landscape artist who draws inspiration from immersing herself in nature. Her utilization of vibrant colour produces evocative work, while simultaneously creating a tranquil experience.
Maya Corona creates bold and vibrant work defined by a strong impression of freedom. She utilizes watercolour, acrylic and often incorporates additional mediums. Maya has shown her work in more than 12 collective local exhibitions, and had her first solo show at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, where her latest collection showed from April to August of 2022.

Christina Gouldsborough is inspired by bringing attention to the beauty of nature and sharing an appreciation for the simplicities within life. She primarily works in acrylic & oil from her home studio in Airdrie, Alberta and paints familiar landscapes, still life and scenes.

Mary-Jo Lough is a vivid and detailed abstract artist based in Calgary. Mary-Jo's work represents her experience of navigating the world as a neurodivergent individual. Within her unique style she utilizes pattern to harness a chaotic background which results in a meditative experience for the viewer.
Amanda is a Canadian landscape artist, whose love of nature and adventure has inspired her bright and vivid acrylic paintings. Amanda is an avid hiker, mountain biker, and skier, where she finds endless inspiration for her contemporary artworks.
Deb Nicolaisen is a wildlife and landscape artist from Calgary Alberta. She paints from her experiences in nature to share the joy of each moment spent exploring the gorgeous world we live in.
Isabel Ostrom is a Calgary artist who primarily works in acrylic. Isabel's inspiration is her native British Columbia and Alberta wilderness and their wild inhabitants. Isabel is well-known for her bright and happy animal portraits, domestic and wild.

Jean is an acrylic artist who is inspired to paint the strength and energy found in the beauty of land, sky and water scapes. Come tour her condo studio, check out her art and share a refreshment.

Jeweliyana is a Calgary based artist. She works in glass fusing, acrylic painting and digital design. The three of these mediums interplay with each other and create her unique style. You’ll find landscape and abstract paintings made completely of glass as well as acrylic paintings with all the texture and depth of glass.
Leslie is a Canadian artist who loves to play with colour. To Leslie there is nothing more interesting than the landscape of a face or even the weathered planks of an old barn and then to further discover minute details that can be accentuated by pushing the boundaries of colour using her acrylic paints.

Sharon’s art is about taking the beauty and joy she feels when she is in the landscape, primarily, and meshing it with her creative vision, to create a colourful, joyful expression of her experiences. She hopes you can feel it too!
